Excuse Poem
I didn’t do any of my chores
Because I saw something strange
I saw some large doors
I walked over until I was in range
I opened a large door with a golden knob
And I found myself in a strange new land!
I looked behind me and the door closed I almost gave a sob
When I finally looked up I saw this place was grand.
There were so many plants of different colors and shapes
The sky was the color violet!
There were mountains, forests and exotic fruits unlike
grapes.
I was so excited I took off like a pilot.
I explored and explored until I grew tired
I sat down but I went right through the ground!
I guess my time in that land had expired.
I was back at home where there used to be doors around
And this is way I did not do my chores. J
